Booster Club Annual Report 2007-08
As we begin a new school year, we would like to share the accomplishments of the Regina Booster Club for the past year. These accomplishments are a reflection of the hard work and dedication of so many wonderful Regina families. As you can see below, your hard work improved many aspects of life at Regina.
Thank you to all who put in untold hours at the 4 H Fair, concession stands, Fish Frys, pressbox construction etc. to support all of these activities.

Booster Accomplishments between June 2007- August 2008
- Construction of new pressbox/bathrooms at football/soccer field
- Support for the Regina Athletic Trainer
- Renovation of the trophy cases in the High School lobby coordinated for the 50th anniversary of the school. Also purchase of two new trophy cases.
- New Bleachers installed for baseball, softball and visiting team for football
- New scoreboards installed for baseball, softball and football. The baseball scoreboard was donated by the Romanowski family. Football scoreboard by the Ken Gerard family
- New football goal posts installed, donated by the Romanowski family
- Segment clock for football purchased and installed
- Supplemental support provided for field maintenance activities when asked by Athletic Director
- Track timer purchased
- Outdoor wiring updated for lower level facilities and fields
- New track speakers purchased and installed
- New bench chairs for HS gym purchased
- Softball concession stand remodeled including new "Regina Regals" sign
- Indoor concession stand remodeled
- Wrestling room remodeled
- Eagle Scout projects funded including:
- Baseball bull pen construction
- Softball dugouts constructed
- Outside remodeling of football press box
- Inside remodeling of football concessions
- Expansion of weight room, cleaning and painting
- Sponsorship provided for:
- Iowa All Star Baseball
- Class 2 A Cross Country Districts
- Shrine football
- Parkersburg softball team donation following tornado
- Donation for Fall Fun Festival Fireworks
- Donation to Gala of Spirit Store items
- Wish lists from coaches funded including:
- 7th grade softball equipment, nail drag and mat drag for softball field.
- Lift straps, jump mat and t-shirts for weightlifting strength and conditioning program.
- Booster Club coordination of concession stands.
- Coordination of team photos.
- New equipment purchased including:
- Popcorn popper
- Signs for Boys Locker room "Keep Out" (that means you Mrs. Beaver)
- Ice machine for lower level
- New football field painter machine
- Fundraising activities including:
- 4 H fair
- Romanowski/Regina Golf Classic
- Fish Fry
- Concessions
- Spirit Store- new and improved!
- New Fund raising ideas implemented:
- Athletic website
- Indoor gym ad scroll board and score table
- Football ad scroll board
- Gatorade shakes orders
- Discount card sales
- Booster organizational changes:
- Bylaws revised
- Booster Building and Grounds Committee reinstated
- Booster Parent Class representatives from grades 7-12 reinstated
- 21st Century Club restarted
