Booster Club Annual Report 2008-09

On behalf of the Booster Club Executive Committee for 2008-09, I would like to share with you the accomplishments of the past year and thank everyone for their contributions to the list of accomplishments below.

We are confident the Booster Club leadership is in excellent hands for the 2009-2010 school year as already evidenced by the new seat back fundraiser at Kinnick Stadium.

We wish them and the Regina Athletic teams great success in 2009-2010.

Booster Accomplishments for the 2008-09 school year

* Construction of new pressbox/bathrooms at football/soccer field
* Completion of the trophy case/lobby renovation project
* Significant support for field repair and maintenance
* All-state board researched, constructed and placed in lobby
* Outdoor championship board researched, constructed and placed behind school
* 21st Century Club reinstated and successful dinner held with Gary Dolphin
* New sports programs coordinated and printed for home games
* Indoor batting cages purchased for softball, baseball and golf
* Upgrades to weight lifting equipment
* New Athletic website
* Continuing support for the Regina Athletic Trainer
* Sponsorship provided for shrine football
* Donation for Fall Fun Festival Fireworks
* Donation to Gala of Spirit Store items
* Upgrades supported for softball concession
* Wish lists from coaches funded
* Hall of Fame Night held and hall of fame plaques placed near cafeteria
* New equipment purchased including:
* Ultrasound machine for trainer
* Portable ice machine for lower level
* New white folding chairs for the pressbox and school activities

Fundraising activities including:
* 4 H fair
* Romanowski/Regina Golf Classic
* Fish Fry
* Concessions
* Spirit Store-including on-line sales for first time
* Indoor gym ad scroll board and score table
* Football ad scroll board
* Gatorade shakes orders
* Discount card sales
